Kirsten is a Probate Executive within the Wills, Inheritance Planning and Estates team and the Later Life and Care Planning department at Kenneth Bush, and as such can assist with all matters relating to Wills, Powers of Attorney, Grants of Probate, and Estate Administration. Kirsten also deals with the day-to-day running of elderly clients’ affairs. This means that Kirsten can help with the following:
- Writing Wills, conducting reviews or updating an existing Will
- Administering deceased estates
- Administering intestate estates (where there is no Will)
- General Powers of Attorneys
- Preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Dealing with Grants of Probate
Kirsten joined Kenneth Bush in April 2006 as a Legal Secretary to Julian Hallett, who at the time was a Probate Partner. She enjoyed the work so much that she then went on to study with Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and was awarded the “Trusts and Estates Certificate” in December 2007.
Kirsten is friendly, reliable and approachable, and continues to update her knowledge and skills within the probate field. She prefers to meet with clients face-to-face, and can visit people at home, in hospital or in care homes if required. She is sympathetic and sensitive to the needs of clients facing difficult circumstances, and is readily available to provide assistance and answer any questions that clients may have.
When not in the office, Kirsten likes to cook at home and watch her favourite films, or go out shopping or socialising with her friends. She enjoys walking in the countryside with her dog, as well as travelling and visiting interesting places on holiday.
