  • Writing wills, conducting reviews and updating existing wills
  • Dealing with problems caused by home made wills
  • Powers of Attorney including Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPAs)
  • Setting up and administering Trusts
  • Dealing with Grants of Probate and Estates

  • Inheritance Tax Planning.

Julie joined Kenneth Bush in September 2006 as a Trainee Solicitor, after having gained a Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of East Anglia (UEA), and successfully completing the Legal Practice Course in 2006. She then went on to complete her legal training and was subsequently admitted as a solicitor in September 2008.

Prior to becoming a solicitor, Julie worked in various sectors including banking, insurance, public authority, and with not-for-profit charitable organisations. This experience enables her to deal with a wide variety of client issues.

As the Compliance Officer for Kenneth Bush, Julie is responsible for overseeing excellence and quality in all areas of our legal practice.

Julie has presented talks about wills, inheritance tax planning and lasting powers of attorney to charities and local businesses, so please contact her if you are thinking of setting up a bespoke legal advice service for the benefit of your employees or are interested in arranging a talk.

As the mother of two young children, Julie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is very friendly and approachable and prides herself on being able to explain legal matters in a very straightforward way, making things easy for people to understand.

Julie is readily available to answer any questions you may have, and adopts a sympathetic approach when dealing with clients going though bereavement or difficult personal circumstances. She will always do her best to provide good honest advice, and to listen to any worries or concerns that clients may have when discussing possible outcomes and solutions to problems. As a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and acting as a professional deputy and attorney, Julie is aware of many of the issues faced by elderly or vulnerable clients and often visits people in their own home, in hospital or residential care homes.

You can contact Julie by email, or by calling 01553 692233 (Office Reception).
