Rebecca began working with Kenneth Bush in 2014 in the Property Department as a Paralegal. However, due to the long distance travel left the firm in 2016 and found work closer to home. Rebecca then returned to Kenneth Bush in December 2017 as a Trainee Legal Executive with the decision of relocating to King’s Lynn.
Rebecca specialises in all types of Property matters, including residential freehold sales and purchases, residential leasehold sales and purchases, lease extensions, transfers of equity, voluntary first registrations, re-mortgages and equity release mortgages. Rebecca is also currently studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (Cilex), currently achieving her Associate qualification and going on to study for her level 6 exams. She is determined to go on to qualify as a Solicitor after achieving her fellowship with Cilex.
She is also a strong believer in women’s rights and equality and took some time out of work in January 2016 to volunteer in Cambodia with a not for profit organisation ‘Open Institute’ specialising in Human Rights and Women’s Rights. Rebecca worked with Open Institute for 5 weeks and was lucky enough to work alongside the United Nations Women during their 3rd National Conference. During her time she also witnessed some of the active court case taking place in respect of The Cambodian genocide carried out by the Khmer Rouge regime under the leadership of Pol Pot.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling to different countries to see different cultures as well as spending time with friends and family, especially her niece and nephew’s as well as reading a good book, when she gets a chance.
