Eike is a Legal Assistant within the Wills, Inheritance Planning and Estates team and the Later Life and Care Planning department at Kenneth Bush. Eike can assist with all matters relating to Wills, Probate, and Estates, as well as the day-to-day management of elderly client affairs. This means that Eike can help you with the following:
- Writing wills, conducting reviews or updating an existing will
- Creating and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Registering an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA)
- Applications for a Court of Protection Order appointing a Deputy
- Dealing with the Administration of Estates
- Preparing applications for a Grant of Probate
Eike has worked at Kenneth Bush for almost 30 years and in that time she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience within her field. Eike has also had some experience of working within the elderly care sector, which has given her an insight into the particular needs of elderly clients and how best to support and assist their families.
She successfully completed a Paralegal training course with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), and was awarded a certificate in Vocational Legal Studies Diploma Level III for modules in Wills, Probate Procedure, and Estate Administration, which she passed with a Distinction.
Eike is very polite, friendly and approachable, and will take the time to listen to clients to understand their requirements and their concerns. She appreciates that for some elderly clients planning for the future can be somewhat daunting, but Eike is very patient and reassuring, and will do her best to answer any questions you may have.
Moreover, Eike appreciates the fact that some clients may find it difficult to travel to the office for advice, so she is willing to meet with people in their own home, or visit hospitals or residential care homes by appointment. In fact Eike’s client base covers King’s Lynn, Swaffham, Downham Market and the surrounding towns and villages, so if you need Eike to visit you, please ask. She believes in providing excellent client care, including continuity of service, and takes pride in having maintained many long-standing client relationships over the years.
Eike is married with two grown-up sons. In her spare time Eike is an avid reader, enjoys baking, sugar-craft, cross-stitch sewing, and is always keen to learn a new craft skill. She regularly attends Pilates and Zumba classes, and enjoys European travel. Eike also speaks limited German, which some clients may find useful.
